Using the Shop vs Using the Members Room

Anyone can buy online from the Metcalfe Shop. You do not have to be a member of The Metcalfe Society. An important note to Metcalfe Society Members   - the Metcalfe   Shop is   not   part of the Members Room. Therefore your Society   Members Room password will not work in the Shop.   To place an order in the Metcalfe Shop you must create a new account with the shop using the 'Register' link at the top of the page.

Books

For instance, there are a number of books available -     'Metcalfe-History of the Clan'   is available along with 'Medecalf' by Rev   Thomas Metcalfe, Vicar of Mytholmroyd 1906-1924   or     'Metcalfes in India' parts 1 and 2 written by The Metcalfe Society, 'Metcalfe Records.

Back Issues of the Mecca News

The back issues of the Mecca News of issues 1-89 are now available on a single CD, which comes with an index making it easier to find articles of interest.  

CD-Roms

There are an array of   general geanological CD-Roms, for instance York City Business Directory   & Year Book 1936 or 'The History of Hull 1866'.  

Research Storage

How do you store your important family history documents. Do you need certificate folders to store those awkward shaped birth, marriage and death certicates without resorting to folds and creases? They come complete with 10 acid-free polypockets in a choice of 4 colours - red, green blue and black.  

Methods of Payment

This site uses Paypal for processing credit card payments and please note that you do not have to sign up with Paypal to be able to use this service. However, if you do not wish to pay by this method or do not have a credit card don't worry - simply proceed through the checkout process and on the final screen you will be given the option to print out your order to send to us by post.

Where do the proceeds go?

All proceeds are used by the Society to fund our projects, such as the one currently in development to allow our members to search our archives online, so we hope you find something useful on this website. Also, if there is something you would like to see on this site let us know.
